I received a Juris Doctor degree with distinction from John Marshall Law School in 1976.  In 2000 I received a Letters of Law Masters (LLM) in Taxation, with distinction, from John Marshall Law School.  I completed track requirements for Estate and Personal Financial Planning and for Closely Held Businesses.

I am currently admitted to practice in Indiana, Illinois and before the united States Supreme Court.

My current professional affiliations include the Indiana State Bar Association, Porter County Bar Association, National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and Northwest Indiana Adult Guardianship Services, Inc. (NIAGS).

My past professional affiliations include being a Certified Family Law Specialist 2005-2011 (certified by the Indiana State Bar Association Family Law Section), and past president of the Porter County Bar Association.

My current community affiliations include: Westchester Neighbors Food Pantry, Board of Directors; Do Good Works, Inc., Board of Directors; Duneland Kiwanis; National Society of Colonial Dames, Indiana Chapter; and Westchester Township Trustee and volunteer guardian for Northwest Indiana Adult Guardianship Services, Inc.

My past community affiliations include: Duneland Chamber of Commerce, Board of Directors.

I received the Athena Award in 2000.
